Fifth Grade

When scholars enter fifth grade at Hazel Park Preparatory Academy, we immediately begin preparing for middle school, high school and beyond.

We also emphasize character development throughout the school year.  We look at character traits such as responsibility, integrity, honesty, and more.  We will have lessons and activities dedicated to character development, and also integrate it into our curriculum throughout the year. 

We have high academic, behavior and social expectations in fifth grade.  We expect our students to come to school ready to work hard each day. The goal of our team is to prepare our students for Post- Secondary Education. We want all of to believe that they can achieve whatever dream they have through preparation, organization, and hard work!
