I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade mathematics. By developing engaging lessons that follow Common Core-aligned curriculums. Areas of focus include Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry.  

Responsibilities include:

Developing classroom activities associated with mathematics including individual or small group instruction for students who require additional academic support.

Plan class activities, including work to ensure mastery of presented material, and grading of tests and assignments in a timely manner. 

Confer with other teachers concerning cross-curricular in a  professional learning community, or PLC. Commits to ongoing professional development

Communicate with parents on a regular basis about progress, schedule, and assignments.

Meet with parents during scheduled conferences or create an individual education plan.• 

Maintain grades and curriculum assessments and collect student data.

Supports school by attending school-sponsored events.
